Consequences of Aneuploidy

Having recently launched in 2022, this exciting new SRC will gather researchers involved in how aneuploidy affects physiology and how it contributes to diseases associated with its development (e.g., congenital disorders) or aging (e.g., cancer). The conference will also represent an opportunity for junior and early-career scientists and those from historically excluded groups to showcase their work, develop mentoring relationships, and network with colleagues in this exciting discipline.

This conference will address some of the pressing questions surrounding aneuploidy such as:

What are the fates of aneuploid cells during development, tumor progression, and aging?
What are the universal vs. chromosome- or tissue-specific consequences of aneuploidy?
What are the vulnerabilities of aneuploid cells?
