3 Tips on How to Communicate your MOA Effectively

How you can clarify your MOA

Outline the step-by-step process

Clarify the level of the action, such as molecular, cellular or tissue level.  Identify and name all the entities involved, including the molecules, cells or organs. Describe all the steps of the action, such as penetration of tissue, entry into a cell, interaction between molecules, inhibition or upregulation, etc. Break down the MOA into a series of steps.

Describe each step

Write a short and clear script for each step, explaining the beginning of the action and how it ends for each step. Ensure you clarify which level the action is happening; molecular, cellular or tissue level. 

Compare and highlight

Describe how the mechanism operates within a healthy state, then compare this to the disease state. This will help you demonstrate how your mechanism effects the processes in the body.
